How To Get Involved:

There are numerous ways to get involved with the Winton Woods Achievement Boosters:

  1. Email Sue Sepela at or Brandon Wiers at
  2. Come to one of our meetings. Our meetings are open to the public, and anyone interested in joining WWAB or in learning more is invited to attend. Due to COVID, all meetings are currently virtual.
  3. Become a member of the Winton Woods Achievement Boosters.  Yearly dues are only $10.
  4. Join one of our committees to help us connect with our community and achieve our mission.

Committees in which volunteer effort can be used are the following:

Finance: Monthly financial report, Bank account, In-kind records, Budgeting, Grant Writing, Fund development, Donor disclaimers, Auditing

Recruiting: Open House planning, Students, Parents, Training Registration, New Booster member/Board member candidate recruiting

Communication: Website/Facebook content, Agendas, Minutes, Archives, Press releases, Marketing, Liaison with school Board and Administration

Program: SAT training, Instructor assistance, Practice test proctoring, Resource acquisition (including snacks), Closing Ceremony planning, College Board follow-up

Organization development: Committee structure and practices, Advisors, Consultants, Instructor performance evaluation, Project coordinator hiring, Strategic planning.

Each committee will have a Board member liaison. They will usually meet once a month and report to the full Board at its monthly meeting via their Chair or their liaison.
